San Joaquin Country Club
Another northside club, north of town, along the beautiful San Joaquin River, is the San Joaquin Country Club, a private club with a tradition of excellence. Meandering along the bluffs of the river are 18 dramatic holes of golf unlike any in the region. Take a tour of each of the holes. The clubhouse provides spectacular views of the Sierra Nevada's to the north and east, and stunning sunsets to the west. Belmont Country Club
If you head east of Fresno you’ll discover the Belmont Country Club. This 18-hole championship golf course is one of the more challenging courses in the entire valley, thanks in part to the abundance of trees and water. To the northwest of Fresno, you’ll find the Madera Golf & Country Club. The club dates back to 1953 and the greens on the par 72, 18-hole course are legendary in the Central Valley.
